Bootcamps run from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (with a 1-hour break), which is 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST.

There are no formal prerequisites, but we strongly recommend foundational IT knowledge before enrolling. This foundational knowledge can be gained through the CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications, or similar industry experience.

YES! It's truly unlimited. You receive your first exam voucher on Day 4 of the bootcamp to ensure you're properly prepared. If you don't pass on your first or second attempt, you'll need to complete 2 practice exams at 90% or higher to demonstrate readiness before receiving your next voucher. After 3 failed attempts, we provide additional faculty support and the opportunity to retake the entire bootcamp instruction at no cost to strengthen your foundation.

You can retake the exam as many times as needed until you pass! After your first two failed attempts, you'll need to complete 2 practice exams scoring 90% or higher - this helps identify knowledge gaps and ensures you're better prepared for your next attempt. We support you throughout with personalized tutoring, additional practice materials, and unlimited exam vouchers at no extra cost. Our goal is your success.

The CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) exam requires a minimum score of 750 out of 900 points to pass. The exam consists of up to 90 questions and you have 90 minutes to complete it. Questions include multiple choice and performance-based questions that test practical application of security concepts.

CompTIA Security+ certification opens doors to entry and mid-level cybersecurity roles including Security Analyst, Information Security Specialist, Network Security Engineer, and IT Security Consultant. Many government and contractor positions require Security+ certification, and it's often considered a foundational credential for cybersecurity career advancement.

Two renewal options:

Earn CEUs: Complete qualifying educational activities during your 3-year renewal cycle.

Higher-level certifications: Automatically renew lower-level certs (e.g., Security+ renews Network+ and A+)

Requirements: Activities must be completed during your 3-year renewal cycle with at least 50% of content relating to your certification's objectives. CE fees are waived when you fully renew through higher-level certifications.

Absolutely! Our Security+ bootcamp includes extensive hands-on lab exercises using virtual environments where you'll practice real cybersecurity scenarios. You'll get experience with network security configuration, vulnerability scanning, incident response simulation, and security tool deployment. Lab access is available 24/7 during your bootcamp enrollment.

Refunds are calculated based on how much instruction you've received: 

Cancel by the end of Day 1 (8 hours or 20% of the course) = 80% refund. 
Cancel by the end of Day 2 (16 hours or 40% of the course) = 60% refund. 
Cancel by the end of Day 3 (24 hours or 60% of the course) = 40% refund. 
Cancel after Day 3 (more than 60% completed) = no refund available.

No refund is available once you complete Day 3 (24 hours of instruction or 60% of the course). This policy ensures fairness since you've received the majority of the course content and instruction by this point.
